The CareAR Digital Transformation Office plays an integral part of ensuring the digital transformation of Xerox and ultimately to its customers for their customers and towards their own digital transformations. This high-profile role provides the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and provide thought leadership to one of the business’s top priorities with high senior level visibility and exposure to all facets of the new business from sales to finance.

The Project Leader will be responsible for complex strategic projects or elements therein. The successful candidate will think strategically and manage methodically. She/he partners across Xerox to ensure the success of CareAR organizational, digitalization, revenue growth and financial reporting programs.

Working alongside heads of operations, sales and product functions, the role holder scopes global programs by using proven best practices. The Project Leader defines and executes work products, timing, and the value to be delivered.

Principal Responsibilities Include:

Project Management on Key Change projects:

  • Developing and utilizing project management fundamentals to drive project success
  • Successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects
  • Uses a framework and program metrics for evaluating impact, effectiveness, quality and progress of initiatives and programs
  • Apply risk management approaches to understand and mitigate risks to projects and programs
  • Manage dependencies between projects and uncover blockages and opportunities
  • Develop material for and run program reviews to drive successful project outcomes
  • Keeps key stakeholders informed of all critical issues

Supporting communications

  • Developing CEO, COO and Board communications
  • Produce documents of the highest presentation quality
  • Collect success stories and ensure teams are recognized
  • Developing communications drafts (including workshop materials)
  • Articulate achievements, risks and opportunities for acceleration, as well as barriers and areas to success & future opportunities
  • Communicate in a structured, top down manner

Problem-Solving ad-hoc issues

  • Provide ad-hoc problem solving and work with key stakeholders to drive issues to resolution in:
  • Fulfillment of targets
  • Counsel and direction on Business cases to support initiatives
  • Assessment of risks and opportunities to existing pipeline
  • Determine and pursue courses of action to drive results

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP or PMI) and/or agile certification (Scrum, SAFE)
  • Preferred Project Management experience or demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • Proven track record of managing to deadlines, objectives and to prioritize work
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills. Business writing ability and experience, including executive presentations
  • Ability to manage complex project(s) simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Ability to analyze the situations and develop alternative approaches to addressing issues, recommend solutions and lead the implementation of management decisions.
  • High willingness to learn and coachable (i.e., receptive to performance feedback)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and preferably also MS Project and MS Word
