Digital Transformation Strategist

Objective of Role 

This role is both a strategic & execution focused roleThe ultimate purpose of this role is to serve as the digital strategist and technical evangelist for Xerox’s digital services.  

Specifically, 

    1. Own & Drive the Xerox Envision program – a program which entails: 
      1. Create a technology vision encompassing solution sets spanning various technologies: AR, AI, IIOT, ML, RPA  etc.   
      2. Working with strategic customers & partners to articulate that vision, helping connect dots between the vision and where they are, how to get started etc. 
      3. Drive incubation of that vision & new technology ideas/solution sets as part of it via demos, showcase and prototypes (art of possible) with innovation partners (Technology, ISV, IHVs) or Xerox own innovation 
      4. Collaborating with PLM & advocating to bring the solutions from incubation to product 
      5. Driving envision sessions to key customers & partners, owning the programsuccess of that (in conjunction with SIs e.g. Deloitte etc)  
      6. Success metrics: # Innovation Roadmap deliverySolution Sets incubated & into product, # Envision program success (# of customers, # of wins etc..),  
    2. Support customer/analyst/media/partner briefings, keynotes, webinars or trainings with presentations & demos 
    3. Spread awareness & evangelize solutions & vision via blogs, presentations & speaking opportunities 

    Responsibilities 

    • Serve as Tech visionary having a thorough understanding of market trends, various technologies, platform capabilities, and connect the dots between how we can target various markets, customer segments with solutions that are organic or inorganic, current & future 
    • Help drive Envision program with major customers & strategic partners leveraging available resources to support as needed (including SI partners). Envision workshops will involve working with a customer (partner), discovery of their key challenges/workflow & requirements to then be able to provide an assessment of AR readiness, recommendations on where/how Xerox platform can help them as well showcase/demo as required with support of larger team (e.g. presales/PLM etc.). This serves as an excellent platform for seeking real world customer input (as feed into tech vision) but also as a way to share our vision & solution sets with customers to inform them where we are going. 
    • Work with key technology partners including ISVs, IHVs, Sis, and others to incubate new solutions, demos, showcase prototypes to spark innovative ideas that can impact business outcomes as a part of Innovation Exchange working hand in hand with Pre-Sales/PLM as required (Part of creating the Technology vision) 
    • Serve as technical voice of the Partner community – feedback any technology requirements into product team & PLM e.g. APIs/interfaces/SDKs needed by partner community to build apps off our platform stack 
    • Evangelize and spread awareness of solution working hand in hand with Marketing & Partner teams to support them via blogs, presentations, speaking slots, webinars etc 
    • Support customer/partner presentations or AR/PR media briefings or even trainings as required.

Pre-requisites 

    • Minimum 20 years of experience in industry (communications, apps, AI/AR etc) 
    • Able to travel a few times per quarter 
    • Able to work independently in a home-based environment
